Icon of the Seas — Royal Caribbean

A dynamic reimagining of the brand icon was undertaken, leveraging transparency and goniochromism. A new color palette and gradients were applied with a stylized approach. The logo was structured to be adaptable, facilitating future iterations through the replacement of key elements.

By establishing a consistent reference point, we meticulously crafted and manipulated textures, lighting, and iridescence, integrating them into a dynamic backplate complete with reflections, refractions, and displacement effects.

A single Cinema 4D render was elevated into a dynamic glass anchor through a tedious After Effects process. Key techniques included masking to isolate the anchor, followed by the application of glass and refraction effects. Subtle distortions and animations were added to create a sense of depth and realism. Finally, color correction and finishing touches refined the visual impact.
